just for a change!! I've just come home from Stamp Camp ( a wonderful weekend of creativity & fun!) ...I had so much fun!!! I decided to be brave & leave my laptop at home ( two days without it!!! ) so I could indulge in a little paper scrapping ....
...I made some more crafty things, too but I'll post them later! It was lovely getting into some 'real' scrapping after doing so many digis! It's got me inspired to try more hybrid layouts ( a blend of digi & paper ) ....maybe once I've caught up a bit on housework now the holidays are over & everyone's out during the day!!
Anyway...I've done my usual trick & left it till dinner time to start a post so I'll have to go & cook up something delicious!!

This started off as my layout for One Little Words latest word , "Change" .....somewhere along the way it veered so far off course it's not funny ...I can't even remember the original idea , but I really enjoyed playing with it!!!! lol ....
.....It looks more like a book/album cover than a scrapbook layout!!! lol ..What do you think?? I'm still quite intrigued by it!
Just thought I'd share it with you, now I'm off to bed...*&%#ing Daylight Savings has stuffed me up as usual!!!

I had one of those urges yesterday...I just felt inexplicably guided to go to Vinnies....so I toddled down with the little ones ( I really need to stop calling them that...they're not so little anymore!! ) ...& headed upstairs to the furniture section, poked around a bit & found something I've wanted for SUCH a long time!!!! ......
I was worried that DH would have a holy fit ,but to his credit he didn't even flinch!! Not even when he had to cut the existing bedhead off & drill holes into the brass one to fit it onto the base!!!! I'm just over the moon ....about the bedhead but I think even more because DH was so accommodating about it!!!! sigh....might cook him up something special to say thanks!!
On another note I was browsing through my digi layouts & found some that I did a while ago & forgot to post !
I changed this one a bit from the original.

I like this one...DH took the photo of the heart carved into a stone wall for me & I had a ball playing with it!!
The background in this one is from a photo that Brigitte took ( LOVE her photos!! ) thanks for letting me play with those, Brigitte!!!
anyway...I should go , dinner & all that. I'm trying to remember Daylight Savings tonight ( curses!!! I loathe it!!! lol ) ...do we go forward or back?? I'll figure it out.
