.... how is it that the days are disappearing so freakishly fast??? I know I've complained about it more than once already but I seem to blink and another week has evaporated before my very eyes!!! ...and I had such great intentions of blogging regularly! lol . I dread to think of how long the list would be if I wrote down all the great intentions I've never actually brought to fruition!!
Life has certainly thrown some challenges at me as it's been hurtling on by...I won't go into too many details, suffice it to say I'm happy to still describe myself as alive & kicking ...and retaining some kind of sanity ( not prefaced with "in-" )lol
Our home quietened down for a few seconds when my eldest son moved out ( in with his big sister!! ) but the energy has been revved up again recently as Gav's six year old niece has moved in with us temporarily! I'd forgotten how much enery six year olds have!!
I've been doing lots of creative stuff, most of which is over at Dreamstime , Red Bubble and/or Deviant Art. My sister & I are still doing the market at Blackheath once a month. We braved Winter Magic & have vowed We Will Never Again Do A Stall At Winter Magic!!! lol What an EPIC experience!!!
Anyway... enough waffling..I'll leave you with a couple of creative things...
It was fun to do a teddy after such a long break away from sketching! I've experimented a bit with adding colour & texture in Photoshop.... a very different experience from coloured pencils!!
And a mandala.... I've been playing a fair bit with these ( some at the links above ) ...it's very therapeutic getting immersed in the details & swirls!
So it's nearly time for the kids to get home from school so I'll go & revel in the quiet for a few minutes before it's over!!
